The estate of La Brousse


  With 15 hectares of truffle grounds, the estate of La Brousse, meets with old truffle growing traditions. At the beginning of the XXth century, the Charente area was indeed one the first five areas of France for truffle production. Truffe is a genuinely traditional product of our local countryside.
 

 

   In a hilly area, amongst vines, maïs and sunflower, the oaks necessary to the growth of truffles have reappeared. Producing truffles is a skill giving uncertain results, but respectfull of the environment, it breeds passion for the sake of fine food, tourism and nature .
